MACHUPICCHU 6 DAYS
Places to visit: Cusco, Pisac, Lares, Quillabamba, Santa Teresa, and Machupicchu.
DESCRIPTION:
Visit tourist attractions of Cusco such as the Cathedral, Plaza de Armas, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenco, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
The trip continues to the archaeological center of Pisac, which is 45 km from the city of Cusco, to then visit its handicraft center. We will then move to Calca and head towards the hot springs of Lares, located at 3250 meters altitude. These medicinal waters are yellowish with varying temperatures for the visitor's enjoyment.
In the morning, the journey continues through the town of Quebrada Honda in the jungle edge until reaching Quellouno. We will head towards Quillabamba, the city of eternal spring.
We will head towards Santa Teresa and then reach the hydroelectric plant where we will leave the motorcycles and proceed towards the town of Aguas Calientes.
The next day, early in the morning, we will take the bus to the archaeological site of Machupicchu, where we will have a two-hour guided tour before returning to Hydroelectric in the afternoon, heading towards Santa Teresa to enjoy the thermal baths of Cocalmayo. We will stay overnight in Santa Teresa.
Early in the morning, we will head towards the Sacred Valley to reach the city of Cusco.
LOCATION: Located northwest of Cusco.
DURATION: 6 days.
DISTANCE: 700 km approx. (asphalt, road) the entire route.
DEPARTURES: Occasional.
